Guys,

Im sure you're all freaking out as much as I am before the first lock out.

Please review my team and let me know your thoughts. Be as brutal as possible, another opinion is always helpful.

DEF: Goddard, H.Shaw, Gibbs, Duffield, Goodes, Terlich (Stevenson, Vlastuin)

MID: Gablett, Swan, JPK, Rockliff (for DPP), K.Lucas, K.Stevens, Wines, O'Meara, (Mitchell, Crouch)

RUCK: Jacobs, Leuenberger (Rowe, Currie)

FWD: Cox, T.Walker, Zorko, Stevie J, Karnezis, Maccaffer, (Kerridge, Neade).

Couple of points:
- Not sold on Stevens in the midfield. There may be cheaper options in the midfield when the teams are decided. That being said, the Dogs got him in for a reason and would probably want to throw him in before younger players so his JS should be better than most rookies.

- Unsure Rowe or Currie will get games early so if Leuy doesnt come through with the goods in round 1, will have to address ruck situation

- Understand Stevie J not playing first round, but only going for league win and I think his scores are going to step up this year with more time in the middle.

Let me know your thoughts and where u think I can improve. The way I see it I have ~14 keepers, and hopefully one or two of the roughies/rooks end up being the Zorko of 2013, which leaves a "manageable" task of cycling throughout the year.

Over to you pro's....

I'm no pro but -

I'd downgrade Duff or Shaw to a rookie. And Stevens to Viney or other cheaper rookie. That gives u about 450 K.

Then upgrade Lucas to a Selwood/Watson/Pendles/Cotchin/Danger. Does that work? If it does that's an awesome team. U have 13 keepers plus Leuy.

DPP is handy and u almost have a full forward line once u move Rocky there.

thanks Ubeaut...appreciate the advice. Let me know where your team is and i'll rate.

I think doing these changes obviously gives my midfield alot of firepower, just a risk with the amount of rookies I then need to field. Nevertheless, the new team reads as follows:

DEF: Goddard, Gibbs, Duffield, Goodes, Terlich, L.Brown (Stevenson, Vlastuin)

MID: Gablett, Swan, JPK, Rockliff (for DPP), Deledio, Viney, Wines, O'Meara, (Mitchell, Crouch)

RUCK: Jacobs, Leuenberger (Rowe, Currie)

FWD: Cox, T.Walker, Zorko, Stevie J, Karnezis, Maccaffer, (Kerridge, Neade).

Also leaves me ~70k for my first upgrade. Should probably find a place to spend it, but pretty happy with the team above as it stands.

Anyone else have comments?

I LIKE YOUR TEAM , HOWEVER NOT CONFIDENT IN LUENBERGER, I THINK HE LACKS MATCH FITNESS AND WILL TAKE A FEW WEEKS TO GET INTO THE SWING OF THINGS I THINK.

STEVIE J OF COURSE YOU KNOW IS OUT ROUND 1, ALSO I AM CONCERNED ABOUT HIS AGE, AND INJURIES HE TENDS TO GET THROUGH THE SEASON.

OTHER THAN THAT I THINK YOUR TEAM IS GREAT.

Grear team. Very good selection. Can you upgeade someone to buddy. He will help you win league. He is one of the most picked players so most teams will have him

BLBBLB

I will get him, but i think he'll drop in price a bit in the first 4-6 rounds so i might be able to pick him up. alternatively, i could cash out karnezis to rookie and upgrade Tex, but i'd rather not as Karnez is gna have a good year and return me some $$

Luey may spell trouble in the early rounds. Word is that he might be fine for round 1, but as people have said, may take a few weeks to find some fitness and confidence in his body. This will leave you with the dilemma of spending extra coin on either a mid priced guy like Smith and Jacobs, an upper mid like Belchambers and Mumford or another prem like McEvoy or Roughhead.

Maybe look at a Pittard at 128k in DEF. Good strong body...

Overall though, real solid team.

My team's at http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,75141.0.html so feel free to call mine horrible!
