New Post NAB Cup Team:

I'm unsure about Kane Lucas, does anyone reckon he's worth the punt? If not I am trying to decide between 3 rookies to downgrade him to: Lachie Whitfield, Dean Kent or Koby Stevens.

All criticism and ideas are greatly appreciated  ;D

Nice team

Back: good POD in Duffield haven't seen to many teams with him. Hartlett is risky, if he remains uninjured he could have a big breakout year.
Mid: Solid, but i wouldn't have both Pendlebury and Swan.
Rucks: stock standard, same with every other team. I would advise you to get rid of Currie and get McBean or Rowe to gain more versatility in your team and have the ruck/fwd link with cox.
Fwd: Solid with a good POD in Breust.

Rate team: 8.5-9/10, solid effort

Good looking team mate, really like that fact that its finally a team that is different in many ways, like the choice of duffield as I have also gone and hartlett which could be risky due to his injury history but will pay off if he gets through the season. Mids are strong, love the pendles/swan choice, hopefully bally gets back to his best. Standard rucks and a very interesting forward line that I like with PODs such as breust who I havnt seen in any teams yet, good choice. 9/10 for the uniqueness, hopefully it pays off, good luck mate :)

'Tis a pleasure to join such a positive thread.

Like it a lot too.

Only suggestion I can provide is maybe swing Vlastuin into mids to make use of DPP.

Ruck DPP has been suggested. Do it.

I am not sure Ball is worth the extra initial investment over a good rookie. Sure JS may be better but rolling lockouts allow a bit more risk in selecting rookies. A good mid rookie will score same as Ball and make you more.

8.9/10

Hey everyone, thanks for the responses, they're very much appreciated. ;D I've switched Currie out for Rowe, and will keep an eye on Ball, and other rookies obviously, and decide whether he'll be worth it.
