so first team obviously rookies aren't of much concern at this point in the year. i have left out my opinion as i want yours.

Backs

Good Premos in Back and Mids with a nice selection of rookies.
Not sure if Colquhon will play (Hope he does I'm a Port Supporter) if not change him to Stevenson watch in the NAB cup!
Like the pick of Mcintosh proven scorer and is at a new club should exceed expectations in the scoring department!
Interesting pick of Zorko if he he can score like he did last year then goodluck to you on that pick. Wright is also an interesting pick but is a smokey.

with the forward line was thinking if one or two fail not a big issue to change or upgrade, especially with the insane amount of trades

Great team best mids i have seen in any team, if i want getting ball i would get pendles and i have swan beams ablett and cotchin also although cotchin is not locked yet.

i think luenburger will burn you without another premo ruck in the fwd line with a dpp link to your ruck he has a slow start of misses a game it will cost you points or a trade, expecting him to be 100% from round one may a bit optimistic.

menzel is a gun so is lee i am not certain either will play or score great right from the start either but nab cup will tell us more.

why currie?

Solid side, but afew changes i'd personally make..

Move Staker up forward and replace with maybe Pittard or Stevenson, there is more defensive option rookies this year (Obviously NAB will show how worth it they are though)

While I like the forward, I think having Wright and Byrnes is a bad choice because the cash could be spent else where and make more with someone cheaper (I ditched Byrnes personally) , maybe if you move Staker you could downgrade one of them to him, and change Zorko into someone better (Cox or Roughy? Put Rowe on Ruck bench for DPP link) I personally can't see Zorko improving on/keeping his last year score, at least not yet.

Other then that a good team.

Hope i've helped. First time i've given opinion on someone elses team.

yea i could put staker forward and remove brynes

why is wright a bad choice, i m a crows fan so i am biased and my opinion on crows is dodgy :)

why cant zorko maintain or improve?

yea rucks scare me alot.

menzel is there so when i downgrade i can go to whoever due to the cash. i dont think he ll get a run to early but then again apart from that slightly dodgy menzel family knee he slid abit in the draft.

why you not sold on cotchin yet?

Currie will be fighting for a spot with Daw as the Roos second ruck i believe he is ahead of Daw.

Majak daw, watch nab cup of course but he got a LOT better last season and if he has had a good preseason he will get games you would think. very athletic can kick goals and his ruckwork is improving, he has competition at the kangas for game time but i see him as the front runner to pinch hit in the ruck and play fwd.

cotchin smotchin :)

just not sure so young and so much attention coming his way ( from opposition taggers)

not sure thats all, think watson or boyd or thompson for the money are far safer options (none in my team at present)

murphy and selwood are good value and a little proven although murphy cant handle a tag AT ALL so he is a worry.

just maybe if i spend 570 on my mid 5 it will be boyd or thompson -they don't miss games and they rarely miss fire :) if ever

they cant be tagged and they are still the heavy lifters in their respective teams getting most of the outside ball at clearances.

cotchin does get fwd for a goal tho which is what helps his average along also.....

the first 4 picked are easy, it's that 5th one that is keeping me thinking..

oh crap boyd, he wont improve on his 115 though so i d probably aim for an upgrade on boyd always get him early as i can.
yea cotch and beams are in the same boat for me young guns think they go it in them though to go better.

wtf do i do with the rucks lol
leuy is the biggest risk i have really coz if he goes bust i m losing out a bit. having said that not many people will be going 5 guns and embley in the mids so i should equal out there.

was looking for another option to luey but there just seem to be mid price r/f or 300 k ruck instead

Zorko is a good pick.. But think he can be upgraded to someone better.

I have actually mistaken Wright for someone else, my bad. He is a great POD.

Nice team Chopps

Your backline is a little weak but there is alot of quality rooks available so if your gonna go weak thats the place to do it. But i would look at having a few more premo's in your forward line if your starting with 3 rooks in your backline it leaves you with too many upgrades to make

I would look at getting in Cox into your forward line .. then if Leuey dies in the ar.se you can trade him and swap Cox straight into your rucks and bring in the best forward rook/midpricer available .. if you dont need to, Cox will be a top 6 forward anyway.

yea essentially what i want to do FF but where the hell do i get the 300 grand from :D i could drop toumpas down but without seeing NAB i have a feeling he ll smash it, if given a chance.

i could go lighter in the mid with the super premo but i wouldnt gain anything by doing so

martin would be the one i d change i think but still dont have the cash to get Cox short by 60.

martin and toumpas vs cox and other mid rookie ?

edit: removed martin and brynes, moved staker to forward and brought in vlastuin.
team looks better overall i think and has cover for the rucks
