Tom Mcdonald (Melb)

Averaged 73.3 from 20 games last season, had a couple of very quiet games during the year (possibly sub).

Good young up and coming player, should be in for a good 2013.

I predict him to get 80-90 in 2013.

Thoughts?

He had a couple of injury affected games, so a little underpriced, but too risky to take a punt on I think.

Definitely can't see him scoring enough in 2013 to be worth the punt at 389,300. Gillies will put pressure on him to keep his spot and has had injuries as well.

Maybe, heard nothing but wraps on him by Melbourne people though.  Played 20 matches last season too.

Agree with Sid on most of this, however i think Gillies will probably push Garland more for a spot. McDonald plays the crucial role on the CHF or forward that has the best endurance e.g. Nick Riewoldt. So is very important to our structure as he has an Elite level of fitness.

Not an SC player at this stage though as he has a very poor disposal.
