will Didak be F only now? ........just curious for AXV

So with Rocky now confirmed for DPP, that only leave's Fyfe to be confirmed or denied DPP i think.

Surely he would keep it after only playing a handul of games last year? <10 games surely can't be a big enough sample of where he earned his points/disposals to remove the F next to his name.

Just like last year, you could quite easily make a forward line full of DPPs.

PS. Surely Grimes will get DPP too. Not as important, but still handy.

Toga

bit of a bugger, but was to be expected...

Glad to hear it that Rocky is definitely gonna be DPP though! Really hoping Fyfey can retain it as well, love him as a player and would love him in my DT!

PowerMan

Any word on Cox getting Ruck/Fwd DPP, pretty obvious now that Nic Nat is the number 1.

Rocky just cemented his spot in my side

Hamish Hartlett a DEF/MID. Lock for anyone? I'm not sure if he's good enough to get selected in my so far- mostly premium defense :/

TOM Rockliff, Bryce Gibbs and Steve Johnson all loom as must-have players in Toyota AFL Dream Team next season, after being awarded dual position status by the game's creators.

Brisbane Lion Rockliff, who averaged 93.5 as a midfielder in the popular fantasy game this year, will be a midfielder/forward in 2013, as will Geelong's Johnson, who averaged 97.4.

Gibbs, who was touted as a likely 100-plus points per game midfielder in 2012 and lost his dual position status from the year before, was one of many Carlton players to perform below expectation.

He finished with a still-solid average of 91.9, which will ensure he features heavily next season given he has been re-classified as a midfielder/defender.

Essendon ruckman Paddy Ryder and West Coast pair Dean Cox and Nic Naitanui have all been classified as forward/ruckmen, furthering their appeal to Dream Team coaches.

Other big names awarded dual position status next season include Dyson Heppell (mid/def), Dale Thomas (fwd/mid), Jimmy Bartel (fwd/mid) and Cyril Rioli (fwd/mid).

However, Dream Teamers will have some tough decisions to make on players who have lost dual position status.

Young guns Patrick Dangerfield, Dayne Beams, Steele Sidebottom, Nat Fyfe and David Zaharakis were all outstanding value last season, each scoring like elite midfielders but able to be selected as forwards.

However, all five will be midfielders only in 2013.

Fremantle captain Matthew Pavlich, another forward/midfielder in 2012, will become a forward only next year, as will his Sydney Swans counterpart Adam Goodes.

Players with dual position status are able to be switched between zones on the field from week-to-week, allowing coaches greater flexibility with their team.
