Mitch Clark

Stats:

Average: 84.1

Centuries: 3

Games scored: 11

Standard deviation: 23.1

Fanplanner price: $446,700

Position: forward

Age: 25

Jayman's Thoughts:

Really rate this bloke, from rounds 6-11 he averaged 99.5 and this is with some not so great team-mates feeding him the ball. With injuries out the way and in an improving team we can expect a good 2013 from Clark

Jayman's Verdict

I can see Mitch Clark proving to be worth his 446k asking price and become more consistent. I doubt I will have the guts to start with him as key forwards such as Clark can prove to provide inconsistent scores and prove to be very risky picks

Jayman's Prediction

I can see Clark averaging 95 in 2013

quinny88

He averaged just under 94 in 2009 but that was playing in the ruck and in a side that played finals.

Would be a very brave man to take a kpp, coming off an injury in from a struggling side.

I would think 85 avg at best personally

The other thing worth thinking about is Dawes. He was often treated as a 'decoy' under Buckley, if he was used in a similar fashion by Neeld I think it would hep Clark a lot.

I don't think he will though, and I'd say Dawes + Bottom 4 + Injuries is enough to make me say no thanks to Mitch.

Am considering Dawes though, would be a massive POD and I have faith in his ability to return to a nice average in 2013.

But then again he has the same problem as Clark - Injuries + Bottom 4.

Decisions, decisions...

Won't have the guts to pick him, although I think he could do well. Too high a risk for me.

Adamant

Im not really a fan tbh, cant see him being consistent enough and wont be a top 7 forward.

dmac07

Won't take the risk, bottom 4 side isn't always the worst thing, cause they go to him every time, like Carlton used to with Fev. I'm going o take a risk on cloke tho, cheaper, higher ceiling, in a team that will make finals.

Jay

Thanks for the thoughts guys. He is an interesting one...
