This has to be the easiest decision I'll be making this preseason - Upgrade target. He'll be missing the first 6 rounds of the 2013 season, pair that up with the fact that he's 34 and had a major dip in average you'd have to think only a mad man would start with him.
2012 was only the second year that Boomer averaged under 100. The first was in 2009, the year he broke his arm (scoring a 0 in the process). It's hard not to wonder if it's a down season or the mark of a player in decline. The fall seems to be too dramatic for me, but luckily there isn't any importance placed on the decision.

One thing you can't question is his durability, since the beginning of SuperCoach he has played 169 of a possible 176 games, playing 22 games in every season but 1. Quite remarkable that he has been able to get himself on the ground so consistently.

With only 6 weeks between his return and his bye, it's hard to imagine he'll fall enough to be a part of the upgrade-frenzy that will likely occur across rounds 11-13, and if he does I'd be too concerned about his scoring drop to take the risk on him.

No way. Nobody should be considering starting him.

Prediction -4 91.

Might be an upgrade target. But would have to be scoring very well for me to consider (as a upgrade target) as I reckon his scores will be on the decline this year

Will be raring to go after watching from the sidelines for 6 weeks.
Dont think he will be much of an option at any point though in 2013. North have a terrible fixture and Harvey is another year older and will spend a little less time in the mid

He is on the wrong side of 30 to be considered for starting, although if he does show some scoring ability he could become a handy acquisition especially due to his DPP.

Has been on the wrong side of 30 for almost 5 years and still killed it :P

But 35 early next year is pushing it!
