Injury History: Knee & Calf Injuries.

Summary: Byrnes has had injury riddled last 2 seasons and when he has been injury free he has not been able to break into the Cats 22. He has just a few days ago moved to Melbourne where he should cement a spot in the 22. He is very old and probably doesn't have much improvement left in him.

Verdict: There are lots of other good very cheap high class forwards to choose from so I wouldn't risk it with Byrnes.

Torpy's Prediction: 65 Average, I don't think he'll do that well.

Yeah, not for me when you've got LeCras, Gray, Knights, Bock all around the same price.
I thought his price would be much lower tbh...

He's only 28, wouldnt consider that very old haha.
I actually think he will average more up around the 80 mark like he did in 2009, 2010. He will play every game and get plenty of mid time at the Dees. Has always been a handy player, just couldn't ever seal a spot at such a dominant club.

+ 1 Byrnes is good value but would much rather LeCras, Gray, Knights, Bock and even Varcoe or Morton

Got quite a few mid-priced forwards ahead of him atm. Still worth watching in NAB.
