Summary: 2012 was a very frustrating season for Sheppard. Not getting a chance until round 6 but then finding some sort of decent form. from rounds 7-10. After that it went downhill in scoring efforts and in round 19 he sustained a season ending ankle injury.

Verdict:At the young age of 21 he still has lots of space to improve and should rise his average a fair bit with game time.

Torpy's Prediction: 65 Average, A small breakout if he can get onto the park

Won't be scoring enough to be a good pick.

I thought I read somewhere they planned to give him more opportunities in the middle next year. But now they're chasing Wellingham and if they land him hard to see how he's going to break in...Too big a risk for mine unless he shows exceptional preseason form.

He did play a couple of games up forward so it is a possibility. Recently signed a new contract and their list manager Craig Vozzo said this about him...

“Brad Sheppard is a player we rate very highly and anticipate he will play a significant role in the improvement we are looking for in pushing inside the top four and enhancing our premiership aspirations.

“He has many of the traits we need to take that next quantum leap and after recent surgery, we look forward to a strong pre-season from him as part of his planned development.
