Thoughts

The Mullett surprised us all in 2012 as he emerged as one of the premier ruckmen in the competition. With his trademark hairstyle and feel-good underdog story, Ivan became somewhat of a cult figure and undoubtedly was featuring in several SuperCoach teams by the seasons close.
However, tradgedy has struck. Ivan is engaged and his bride to be has requested he give the mullett the chop. :o

What will come of Ivan without his magic locks?

In all seriousness though, Ivan is set to be one of the highest averaging ruckmen in the competition in 2013, and if you want to go with set and forget rucks - Pair him up with Nic Nat and not much can go wrong.

At 602k his price is a little steep, but the ruck line is usually a position you don't want to fiddle with throughout the season and the double premium setup has treated me well in the past.



Verdict

He'll be in my calculations this preseason, there are only 4 or 5 rucks worth truly considering as starters at this point and he's one of them.

About the same I'd think. Can't think of a reason for him to step backwards so I'll go for 114.

NicNat - Berger will be the most popular ruck combo of 2013.

Will undoubtedly see a drop in popularity without the mullet.  However for the time being he stays on the watchlist for R1.

Nah not stupid...you will be way ahead of the pack if he doesnt get back to old form.

If im not convinced with bergers pre season ill be grabbing big Ivan to join NicNat.

2013 prediction if he can retain the mullet, 110, but unfortunately I think the big fella will put his partner before the hundreds of thousands of fantasy football fans.. :(
