Kade Simpson (Carlton Blues)   - requested by Matty

Position: Mid

Price: $441,500 (FanPlanner)

2011 Games: 22

2012 Games: 19

2011 Average: 95.4

2012 Average: 93

2012 Tons: 9

Big games: Dockers (140), Bombers (131, 124), Giants (123).

Summary:
The ultra-durable Mr Simpson unfortunately had his record-breaking run of consecutive games brought to a halt this year to the frustration of his coaches as a result of a heavy bump from Sharrod Wellingham that saw him miss rounds 16, 17 and 18. Whilst 9 of his 19 games were tons, with 5 games above 115 he scored below 80 on 7 occasions which is a tad concerning for a premium midfielder. Not sold on his consistency but was picked up by a few this year as a nice POD. It will be interesting to see who teams will tag next year out of Kade and his team mates Chrissy Judd and Marc Murphy.

Verdict:
Not for me. As I said, you want super-premo mids that will ton up most weeks, and if they don't ton up you expect at least 90ish ppg from them. The fact that Kade failed to do this on 7 occasions means I will not look to start him next season.

Adamant

Yeah not for me, has too many 60's and 70's - which is not what you want from a premo mid.

Hagebear

I like his ceiling, but just too many low scores. Wouldnt be the worst unique though. But don't think I could bring myself to do it.

Would love to see how the Mick-effect influences Kade. There is no doubt that fantasy ability is present in Simpson :)

Ricochet

Won't be a super premium so I won't be considering him

Will be no room for Simpson in my midfield next season.
Really think he has the potential to be a DT premo but not for me.
Could be a nice POD for some coaches.

Was brilliant before murph and carrots went down with injury. He started to get some attention after that, but with a fully fit blues midfield around him i reckon he may average 105-110. When the Blues were flying so was Kade :) Look for a big year under Micky
