Bachar Houli - Richmond Tigers

Position: BACK

Price: $373,000 (Fanplanner)

2011 Games: 22

2012 Games: 22

2011 Average: 83.9

2012 Average: 78.9

2012 Tons: 3 tons and 4 90+

Summary: Frustratingly inconsistent. He has a lovely ceiling of 120-130 odd but too many games in the 70's for my liking. A massive upside is the fact he chalks up 22 matches a year due to sublime durability and awesome JS. The former Bombers reject has found a home across half-back and could be an interesting POD with Deledio moving into the middle...

Verdict: On the watchlist. Unlikely I'd take such an expensive punt but there is potential for improvement, no doubt.

Ele's prediction: Back into the 80's after an impressive year from the Tiges - 84.

KoopKicka

Slightly cheaper then yes, not at that price unfortunately :(

Heppell21

Definitely on the radar, just not at that price.

elephants

He's one of those players who just needs another 5-10 points onto the average to be premium... It'll happen, but when ;)

Adamant

Got a whole heap of defenders way ahead of Bachar...just doesnt average quite enough to be a viable option in defense.

Zombie2.5

This guy is close to being a good DTer. Just an extra 10pts a game, and I'd be on to him. Hard to predict what he'll do next year, to me seems very risky, and probably not worth that risk, at that price :-\

Spinking

Seriously considering. Is expensive but compared to slightly more premium defs - Grimes, Broughton, Waters, Adcock - He is supremely durable and reliable.

Shihan7

He is on my watchlist, but is probably slightly too expensive.

Justin Bieber

I like him, but not for me. Won't improve that much... or at all... but should.

henry

I agree, I think his average will stay pretty much the same. He will improve in terms of points at some stage, just don't think it's this year. There are definitely worse options out there though.

Ricochet

could easily break out and push 90+ but i think i'll wait and see. definitely wont be starting with him

+1

Capper

Will he just be a back though?? Surely there is a change of DPP mid/back??

Could be a smokie

Mr.Craig

Not straight up but he could be a decent D7 if his average reaches 85ish.
