2012 average: 76 from 22 games



its a shame Westhoff plays for the Power because over the last 2 seasons he has been called upon from time to time as a mister fixit... playing in the forward half, as a ruckman and through the centre, as Port has struggled with poor recruitment and player development so his scores have suffered as a result.

his lack of consistency also hurts Port Adelaide as he certainly has ability but cannot string good performances together.....

he was top 10 in disposals and tackles, he also finished top 5 at Port for marks, frees for, goals, inside 50's and goal assists

if Port Adelaide are going to have any sort of improvement on field they need their middle tier players to stand up.....

admittedly they don't have great list of top tier players but those who are picked for the roles they play..... they need to stand up and Westhoff is one that needs to show that he is capable of bringing Port back to a level of competitiveness in 2013

The Hoff shows flashes of brilliance, but it would be ludicrous to get him in given his inconsistency....And he plays for Port.  :P

I would think 85 average would be high with the quality of ball coming in to him.  In a year or two as the Power's mids develop he might start to trouble the scorers a bit more, but at this stage he isn't on my radar.
