Patrick Dangerfield - Adelaide

Position: MID/FWD

Price - $481,200 (Fanplanner)

2011 Games: 22

2012 Games: 22

2011 Average: 70.5

2012 Average: 101.9

2012 Tons: 12

Summary: Dangerfield is explosive midfielder who can all distribute the ball well. Was a little inconsistent at the start of the season and started slow, but finished hard and scored 7 straight tons. Had a great season and looks like he will be a future All-Australian. Things are only looking good for Dangerfield and could be a great pick up in 2013.

Verdict: Lovely price and is almost locked. Rumours he may lose his DPP however.

tbagrocks

won't matter as he will ave well over 110 next year as a leading ball winner in the comp

Adamant

Yeah lock for me in DPP. If pure mid....most likely not.

roti

lock if dpp
dont think i'd start him in the mids

Alka

Too risky for a mid, still has a tendency to go missing every now and then.
DPP lock though.

Zombie2.5

Yep, as a forward pretty much must-have. Will rack it up, and can only get better and improve on this year.

elephants

Lock in the fwd line - will still consider if only a mid ;)

Not counting anyone out yet ;)

disco1992

This may be wishful thinking but I remember a few games where Tippett or walker were out and he played deep forward for patches. So hopefully dpp

LF

Definate lock if he keeps his DPP.But to be honest I don`t think he will :(

Kellogscrunchynut

If he is MID/FWD then he is a lock otherwise no.

henry

Yeah agree with what others have said, lock if he stays as a forward but I fear he will lose it, at which point the likes of Cotchin, Swan, Gaj go past him.

+1

He's a lock for me no matter where he plays. Gun who will improve again next year.

Paddy doesn't need to match Swan, Ablett or Cotchen, there are 6 midfield spots available
Rd 23, 136
Rd 22, 105
Rd 21, 108
Rd 20, 137
Rd 19, 130
Rd 18, 111
Rd 17, 118
+ a 110, 140, 142

he got better as the year went on as he had to learn how to dominate the midfield after being played as a forward for years under Craig, now he knows how he is more than good enough for a M5-6 next season 8)
