Yes it is another thread about Greg Broughton, but it is a simple one.
Many will have him as there original elite backmen, who they intend to keep.
He had a reasonable pre-season, and was said to move into the midfield more this year.
He has come out, though, with scores of 57 and 72, and is now playing a role in the Freo squad, that means no good news for SuperCoach teams.
He has a breakeven of 172. "Historically he plays well against Brisbane". And he hasn't got that hard of a fixture.

Are you keeping him or not?

If possible, leave possible reasons why or why not trade him out of your team, and also explain to me why Birchall, Dempsey, Rance, Hurn, Adcock, Duffield etc. would be bad ideas... or good ideas?

Imma keep him. He averaged 90+ last 2 years. And he didn't play.mid that whole time.. He will come good... Top 10 defs at the end of the year!

I don't have him, but I would be hanging onto him if I did. He was the same last year, so many people trade him out after a couple of low scores then he would pump out some 120+'s

So hard to know what lyon is going to do with him. Dont know about the duff mans injury if at all and they have silvagni to come back probably this week so that might change his role. If it was me i would stick with him and save the trade. However in saying that i have broughts and shaw in DT and am going to trade one of them out for goddard (I Know) but i dont know which one.  I'll Probably stick with broughts.

I'll be keeping him in my team. If i had him in dt he would defs be out of my team. Last year showed he is more of a sc'er than a dt'er so im gonna keep the faith

WOW i voted no the results came up and 12-12 - a whole lotta hate :) i'm with the haters but I have Howard to deal with....

I wouldn't trade him anyway, the defenders playing as defenders aren't scoring well anyway, i got broughton and heater but have to let them come good can't trade everyone sideways.

I also have Goddard and Delidio and can't get better than they are putting out, it all balances out I guess and as soon as you trade out heater or broughton you just know what is going to happen, the guys you bring in stop scoring and they start :)

If you do trade broughton tho it has to be to a rook or mid pricer about to rise in price a lot and make you a ton of cash OR

to a defender premium that is a must have which is goddard, delidio, probably birchall he won't score any worse than his 80 today as we saw if he isnt getting the ball they will move him to where he will get it.

that's my 2 cents... good lucky deciding with a 12-12 poll  :-\

At least you know what you're getting with Birchall. His role is very unlikely to change. Even on a "bad" day like today he still scored OK. Him or Dempsey/Malceski would be my replacement choice.
