Hi there,

Here is my first crack at a 2012 SC Team.

All comments appreciated, cheers guys.

G'day mate,
Since you haven't considered byes, I won't take them into account when looking at your team...but will point out that your backs include deledio, connors and ellis starting (I don't have anything wrong with these three as picks themselves..in fact if connors is in round 1 i'll probably have him)

Def - Bock out for first two rounds if you weren't aware so that rules him out for me. Grimes is risky, he had a full preseason last year, killed it in nab and then got injured. I just don't think he has anywhere near a full season in him. I'd go docherty or buntine over tomlinson too but thats just me

mids - Mids are great (uniques) but I don't like mora all that much. Not because he's coming back from injury but I don't see his scoring potential. He doesn't see much of the ball and in his first year played ~21 games but had a poor avg. Coniglio is ready made, can't complain with him - he'll be like dusty

rucks - Good to see sandi, he's almost been forgotten. I've got him.

fwds - All good but not a big fan of lecras. For the past two years he's been rumoured to spend time in the mids but he hasn't. Who knows, with the loss of ebert maybe he will spend more time there but I think they need him as a small fwd rather than a mid so for that reason I wouldn't take him. I usually don't take the no.1 draft due to high price but since patton is so big, he might just take a few big marks and kick some goals. Honestly I don't think that'll happen because he's playing for gws - think dixon for gc. Obviously patton has more talent but yeah i still wouldn't go there. Like the pick of Amos Frank!

Very solid base. Few picks I don't agree with but it's not as if they're badpicks/you don't have options around those prices.

If I had to rate, it'd be 8.5 - 9

Cheers for the feedback tferrier18. Greatly appreciated bud.

Below is an updated squad, with new prices and positions as released by Super Footy today.

Any further comments will be greatly appreciated.

Pretty happy with my Forwards and Rucks at the moment.

Midfield, relatively happy. I believe Cross and Barlow represent great value.

Backs, still not totally content. A little bit of a long tail there after the Three Premiums.

I shall comment on your updated team, but be aware that i will not comment on your rookies as i do not know much on them.

The bottom half of your backline i am unsure of. Connors, Clarke and Bower. They are not all that great compared to the rest of their team in the same position, plus they lack the ability to rack up consisted SC points. Plus i don't see a change on the horizon unfortunately.
Barlow could be ok for now, but watch his pre-season. I am unsure on picking him.
Rest is fine, but Zaharakis will never be a complete lock, but i may be wrong. he has potential, but you will be in luck if he has a breakout season in the upcoming season.

8.5/10 :)

Not a bad team 8.5 /10

Watch Rookies during pre season and then select those that are named Like all back rookies selected but as I said watch selections unsure whether Clarke or Docherty will be starters in round 1.

Mids Like and the risk with Cross which may come off not the worst M4 by a long way.

With Rucks would probably go more with Giles rather than Rowe.  Suspect Giles may be the Zac Smith of 2012. Can not fault other selections.

Forwards like the choice of both Zaha and Martin which may again pay off for you,  Porps coming back from shoulder injury so watch in pre season.

Overall Like all your rookies but just watch to see who is playing from Round 1 and others may be downgrade targets when cashing in cash cows.
