Reasonably sound squad. Pretty standard when compared with others. Midfield is sound although as we saw last year injury can play a part.
Like your Ruck combo including bench.
Forwards Brown could be gold if he is injury free this year. O'Keeffe concerns me a little as despite his average of 102.6 he was a little inconsistent with some low scores 39 and 52. If he can find consistency this year will do well for you.

With Rookies watch the pre season to see form and then wait for team announcements for first week and load your benches and last positions accordingly.

Yeah might be fairly standard for now, I just tried to go with a fairly consistent team to start with, after the pre-season I doubt this team will be the same. Round 1 rookies will have a huge part to do with this.

If Brown is playing round 1, he'll be in my team.
ROK I wasn't too sure about, can score very well but has burnt me in the past, will have to wait on his pre-season numbers, hopefully can score consistently for the whole year.

For the updated team, i can't really comment on the rookies, as i haven't done enough research, but for the rest:

Not a fan of Morabito, didn't really do enough to earn a position in my team.
Keep Broughton and Martin may i add, however ROK does not start seasons well, and if he does, does not keep that form throughout the season. for that just steers me away from him.

Morabito i'm not 100% on yet, would like to somehow work another premium or mid pricer into the mids but not sure how I'd do it. Was tossing up between ROK and Dangerfield but waiting to see how Danger is used before selecting him, if I go with Danger that'll free up some cash and find another downgrade somewhere to upgrade Morabito.

marty clarke will probs not start for the pies early on and could be cheaper cows. if he starts would be a good choice.

not sold on daniel cross either. depends what role he plays this year.

alot of uniques. and trent west would be a good buy if he is main ruck.

just have to wait and see.

Adcock - If he can play without getting injured I reckon he'll average around 95ish.

DEF: Not a fan of Johncock, been round for ages and ain't getting better -1. Otherwise ok.
MID: Excellent.
RUCK: Cheap. You know why. Spend your $311k here.
FWD: Weak, 3 rookies is 1 too many, spend some of your $311k here.

I think you've gone too hard on the rookies, my chrytal ball tells me you will get smoked in the early season and fail to make the finals. The end.

Yep not a fan of joncock either, I would downgrade him to conca lake or even Marty Clarke.
Use that money to add another mid priced to your fwd line like Christensen or just upgrade brown to a premium, and use all your cash left to upgrade the ruck but still you won't be the only coach going 1-3 in the rucks, but too ballsy for me.

barlow = good choice
rucks = need better 2nd ruck
fwds = also agree with needing 1 more mid or prem
will fyfe miss early games...?

Risk with both Adcock and Johncock in Def
Mids Sound - Probably need to swap Zorko and Clifton as Clifton is listed as mid only.
Rucks: Sound for the 1/3 strategy
Forwards Probably need another prem here

You have plenty of cash so spend away and get the extra prem you need in forward line especially if going the 1/3 Ruck Strategy. I am considering it myself but you need to have right prems otherwise you burn trades. I am working on having 16 prems in playing lines so only needing to upgrade 6 rookies to get team finalised.

Pretty keen to keep the 1-3 ruck structure.

Is Clifton mid only on SC? Either way I switched him and Zorko.
