UPDATED TEAM HERE

DEF: Brendon Goddard, Brett Deledio, Bryce Gibbs, Bachar Houli, Jack Grimes, Steven Morris, Matthew Buntine
(Sam Docherty, Brandon Ellis)

MID: Scott Pendlebury, Gary Ablett jnr, Trent Cotchin, Michael Barlow, Tom Mitchell, Stephen Coniglio
(Elliot Kavanagh, Dylan Shiel)

RUC: Shane Mumford, Matthew Kreuzer
(Tom Derickx, Jonathan Giles)

FWD: Lance Franklin, Paul Chapman, Travis Cloke, Jack Riewoldt, Jonathan Brown, Will Hoskin-Elliott, Jason Porplyzia

Tear it apart boys!

Torpedo10

DEF: I would go Waters instead of Grimes. Will be interesting which player DT players will go for most. I'm not convinced on Houli. I think you should try some other player. I like your choice of Premiums.
MID:i like your choice of Mids. I think Cotchin will really step up this year in his DT scoring. I think you should choose Dom Tyson over one of your other rookies. he is a ripper of a player. The Pendles, GAJ duo I also like.
RUCK: I like Mumford but would be wary of Kruezer. he will play forward so Warnock can play ruck. I would try and get another major ruck or a risky player like Trent West.
FWD:i like your choice of rookies! I think Brown is this years DT fake gold. He is getting on and his best years are behind him. He is tempting but I would try to resist that temptation! i think Jack Riewoldt will come back better than ever next year. He will put in a hard pre-season after his okay effort in 2011.I think you would need Goodes in your FWD for 2012. The two-time Brownlow Medallist will want his team to challange for the 2012 finals series and will fight hard!
Overall this team is a team that needs a bit of a touch up but it has good upside.

My Chumps

I like this attempt, TFH.
Agreed with Torpedo though that I'm not keen on Johno Brown, but I can see how you would justify his selection.
Trent Cotchin is an interesting one. He had his break out last season so I don't think he'll up his average much more in 2012. I'd be downgrading him to Hayes, or finding cash elsewhere (maybe downgrade Brown?) and upgrading him to a Rockliff, Swallow, Selwood or Murphy.
I like Kruezer as a bit of a unique, but it all comes down to his pre-season I reckon. If he can stay fit he'll be a nice selection. We all know what he's capable of, and I'm very tempted to slot him in myself  8)
I'm steering clear of Chapman as he's getting on a bit in years. Could work for you though.
The rest looks pretty solid mate, best of luck  ;)

I'm a fan of that team, 3 massive guns in the middle, and stars on most lines. Nice

Ringo

Team 3 strong

Just personal but I prefer not to start the season with Goodes as he traditionally starts the season slowly only averaging around 95 SC  points whereas he averages 115 for back half of season. So I tend to target him as an upgrade,

3 rookies + Grimes starting is a recipe for frustration, probably one too short IMO. Perhaps all three of GAJ, Swan and Joel are too expensive...

Ringo

Just bear in mind also Docherty may not be playing in the early rounds has just undergone Hip surgery.

Obviously with Rookies a lot will depend on pre season and teams named to see who is in final teams.  My personal preference would be to swap Docherty for Luke Brown and move to mids so you have a back/mid DPP and select another gun back rookie maybe Buntine. Brown would probably replace Horsely in mids.

is this any better?

Ringo

Backs: Still not 100% that both Grimes and Lake will pay off - Maybe just one of the 2.
Mids OK
Rucks - Like the uniqueness of Jacobs as he may step up further this year.
Forwards: Not a Christensen fan better options at that price imo.

Much better team overall but still no back mid DPP if you wish to utilise the DPP to save trades,

Done a bit of what you suggested, got rid of grimes and lake for premiums, and yes i think heppell will be a premium this year, hes twice the size he was last year!

Christenson is out for Sidebottom and ive put in DPP Links for Defense as well as Forward

Ringo

Well done Really rate this team 8.5/10 especially with a couple of uniques compared to other Teams in Jacobs and Heppell.  But also the doubts about them stepping up have dropped overall rating to be fair.
Obviusly rookies will depend on NAB cup form and being named (have doubts on Clarke being named for 1)
