First look, have about $44K left over, but have chosen pricy Rookies.

Goddard, Deledio, Gibbs, Harlettt, Heppell, Rookie Rookie (Rookie, Rookie)
GAJ, M Murphy, Rockliff, Rookie, Rookie, Rookie, (Rookie, Rookie)
Mumford, Leuenberger (Rookie, Rookie)
Franklin, Fyfe, Cloke, Petrie, Zaharakis, Rookie, Rookie (Rookie, Rookie)

Petrie will only be there if a R/F rookie turns up. Don't mind it to start, any thoughts?

I think the team is decent. I think Hartlett is a bit pricey. I wouldn't be starting Murphy, I'd look at Redden, Priddis, Selwood or Judd. If you want someone a bit cheaper I think Jimmy Bartel would be a nice pickup. He's coming off a NS Medal and looks better than ever! I would try to fit in Goodes or even replace him with someone. I'd look at Mumford but if you need cash HMac, West,Clark or even Minson!

Whats the reason for not having Pendlebury and/or Swan, fixtures too tough?

Personally, don't trust Harletts hamstrings/shoulders haha.  Had enough bad experiences with Grimes & Higgins.

Torpedo10

@charliesheen Yes, That and everyone will pick him and Swan will not make his breakevens and his price will drop.

charliesheen

I think the Pies fixtures are not as bad as people are making it out to be.

Pendlebury is a big game player, have no concerns about him maintaining his 2011 average.  Personally think he is an absolute must.

If Petrie not R/F Have you thought of Clarke for that role.  Can see him having a big one for his new club and will be back up to Jamar maybe.

Torpedo10

I would wait on Petrie for 2012. He will be pricey after a great season so I would look elsewhere. If his getting good scores after the first few rounds then think about it but I would look elsewhere.

thanks for all the advice guys,

I have revised the team now based on the advice

Goddard, Deledio, Gibbs, Broughton, Rookie, Rookie, Rookie (Rookie, Rookie)
GAJ, M Murphy, Rockliff, J Selwood, Rookie, Rookie, (Rookie, Rookie)
Mumford, Leuenberger (Rookie, Rookie)
Franklin, Fyfe, Cloke, J Riewoldt, Zaharakis, Rookie, Rookie (Rookie, Rookie)

Don't mind how this looks now, would love to fit Pendles in there as his SD is so low and should improve again..

I have no problem with theplayers you have chosen just your structure. With 7 rookies starting in the ground you may be asking for trouble especially with 3 starting in the backs. But it is an aggressive strategy and I like that.

The Bloods

Still need 15 rookies on about $1,593,700 might be a bit slim

FisherSaints

Maybe downgrade someone to Saad or Milera, Saad can kick 5 goals in a match, watch his pre-season

You may be right. I generally try not to spend too much on rookies but there may be a couple of first round picks that are too hard to ignore.

Ringo

If you can balance out your rookies with cah left OK .  Look at Zorko mature aged C/F Dpp and only $94k at this point in time.
