I'll push Woosha back to the back pocket, and i'll move Ross Glendenning (who was known for his versatility on either the Half forward or Half back lines) to the Half back line leaving my centre half forward position vacant for one of the most selfless players of all time, Norm Smith.

One scribe commented that he "could make a forward line work around him" and he was the epitome of a team player."

A tough, team-orientated player, Tredrea was invaluable to both his club and state in that he was sufficiently versatile to succeed in almost any position on the field.  Tredrea was also supremely fit and could maintain the same high levels of pace and vigour throughout a game.  A highly proficient exponent of the stab pass, he rarely wasted a possession, and his fearless attack on the ball even won the admiration of notoriously hard to impress Victorians in the interstate arena, a type of football in which Tredrea excelled for over 30 games

He was more of a midfield/forward player if anything. IMO, I reckon in your side, he'd be better off on the half-forward flank.

Well while I was researching him for the draft, on 3 separate occasions, they said he played his best football as a midfielder.

Plus, I don't think Melbourne or New South Wales had him down back in their respective "Team of the Centuries". In fact, I think you'll find that they placed him (on both occasions) on the half-forward flank.

I know the "Team of Centuries" aren't always correct, but I'm just saying, IMO I think he'd be best suited to the gap in your half-forward flank. Plus, there are better backmen around still available.  :-X
