I am not shattered though, I am more than happy with Doull 8)

Boomz

Was a hard choice :-X thought about taking a defender but decided on going for one of the best CHF's ever instead... Barrie Robran.

201 Games & 196 Goals for North Adelaide, 7 time B&F winner, Won 3 Magarey Medals & was the first South Australian to be granted legend Status in the Hall of Fame. One of the best players never to play AFL/VFL.

Nice pick BBoy. I was hoping Pratt might slip through the cracks a little longer.

Well c4vm4n's turn and for his 4th pick, he chooses....

The Prince of Full Back.

In an age where Coventry, Pratt, Mohr and Vallence were the dominant forces up front...Jack Regan was the man that shut them down. Along with the likes of Southby, Silvagni and Fletcher, he is one of (if not) the greatest full-backs of all-time.

He played 196 games for Collingwood between 1930 and 1946. It's said his arial judgement was unlike anything ever seen; he just seemingly out-marked everyone. This coupled with his accurate and penetrating kicking made him a coaches nightmare.

Other achievements include:

  • Captain of Collingwood in 1940, 1941 and 1943
  • Member of Collingwood's 1935 and 1936 premiership side
  • Was Collingwood's Best and Fairest 1936 and runner-up in 1934, 1937 and 1941
  • Came 3rd in the 1934 Brownlow Medal (for a full-back that was unheard of)
  • Represented Victoria 14 times
  • Is a member of the Collingwood "Team of the Century" and the AFL "Hall of Fame"

Definitely had to get my hands on a full back....and very happy with my choice.  :)
