I think most players might not score well in lower scoring games :P

Collingwood have obviously played 2 of the ''poorer'' teams this year in Port and North Melbourne, however with the exception of only a few teams/players I don't see many teams being able to reduce the quality of delivery going into the Collingwood forwardline, nor many individual players capable of beating Dawes (Scarlett, Lake, Frawley, Glass the exceptions).

The best defender will still go to cloke so Daws is the man to be on this season.

Exactly! But he did what good players/DTers do and scored very well against them. My question is do you think he will finish the year with an average around the 80-85+ mark and therefore be a reasonable 6th or 7th forward, or not?

dawes doesn't actually need goals to score well. As we saw yesterday he got 112 points with only 2 goals
and now collingwood will regular score more than 80 points they also lock the ball in their fwd 50 this creates a few more points for the fwds, from quick handballs.

im realy thinking about him but i i were to get him it would be for one of my rookies i may hold off another week and see how he goes up against Carlton
