Hey fellas, yeah as i said i am considering to try afew different moves to improve this season. with the byes and substitute rule, i think it will take some risks to succeed. im not sure about rhys shaw, mcglyn or knights because i dont usually go with mid range players, although malcheski killed it for me last season. i know that petrie is a strange move, but with vikery covering rnd 1 and 3, plus covering for sandilands bye in round 5, then trade vickery on eventually to a rooke for cash. what are your thoughts?

With Malceski and Kennelly out, Shaw may have a chance to return to his 2009 form. Rd 1 projections on BigFooty (and Monty's if think) have him starting on HBF, where he was in '09.

I actually really like your team.
People are starting to convince me about Petrie and Vickery, BUT I'm just not sure whether I want to have Petrie at the end of the season. At best he will average 80 (IMO) but I believe Cox (my current second ruck) should average 90+. I has pros and cons just like anything else. With R.Shaw, I think he will improve on last year but won't improve enough to become a solid keeper in you back line - I think it will be like Petrie were you have someone at the end of the year averaging mid 80's. I like knights - not to sure about McGylnn (He's been in and out of my side) - I have a strange feeling McGlynn will average around mid 80's again. I think Knights and McGylnn will have a similar average.

Yeah my rucks is where I'm still unsure. I have had cox and sandi all along, but put Petrie in to change it up, and it's earned me 100k, which I could use to upgrade foley to swallow. Yeah I'm still not sold on this move,but I really didn't like the idea of a low prided mid. Yeah and I don't like mcglyn and Higgins in the same team, cos they're the same price dpp and predicted output. I want to have goodes instead, but I don't quite have the money
