This is my latest attempt at a league victory and a top 1000 ranking...hopefully. I would appreciate comments and rates. Criticism is welcomed. Cheers, Hally

Mids: Swan, J Selwood, Anthony, D Swallow, Gaff, Heppell(B) - Wallis, Hallahan, Krakouer

Rucks: Sandilands, Petrie(F) - Smith, Lycett

Forwards: Franklin, Sylvia(C), Thomas, Riewoldt, Brown, Knights, Prestia - Tapscott, Matera, McDonald(R)

I have $5,600 left in the kitty.
If I could I would like to fit in Isaac Smith into the forwards but i need another $30k and don't know how or where to get it.
Also who do you think out of Selwood or Boyd?
I think Boyd had his breakout, breakout year last year and the year before and he is getting older.
Selwood is getting better with age and will now be the number one at geelong. The downside of this is that he will probably get more attention although he has shown he can handle a tag. Thoughts?

if you wanted the extra money you could downgrade one of your premium backmen (but definitely NOT goddard  :P) to a cheaper option like otten etc. (cant think of any others off the top of my head, just look in the players and trades section ull find some  :P). also switch out thomas for sidebottom (im sure ML will back me up on that one  :P) otherwise looking fairly good, dont ask me about all the rookies im not an expert there though  :P i gave 8/10  :)

Yes I am more of a SC player, but I do agree with pyro in saying that sidebottom wil be better than thomas.

Looks like a solid team. I haven't heard much about Richardson that everyone seems to have in their team?

Maybe have Tippett in the forward line to cover for Petrie if he goes down again this season, that way you can the MPP rule, and say if Petrie gets injured after 5-6 weeks you'll have a better chance upgrading him.

NTH seem to have got their hands on a few good youngsters but can someone tell me how they'll fit into the team? like how will atley break into that midfield?

broughton 2 expensive this year for me, just dont see him improving enough next year to warrant selection

it was a toss up between broughton and deledio but i already had heaps of players missing the hawthorn, freo geelong bye. I had no richmond players and deledio was down on last years form and with an improving tigers team - cothin, martin etc he might not get tagged as much (hopefully). he is also multi position and i think he might be cheaper as well

very good team, but ur back line looks a little weak over the byes rounds, coll,port,gc, car and nth melb have  the best draw out of the lot.

Maybe look at Brady Rawlings instead of Duffman?
