Paul Chapman

2010 Stats
Games: 21
Total Score: 2,445 (Ranked 8th overall, 8th amongst midfielders)
Average Score: 116.43 (Ranked 7th overall, 7th amongst midfielders)
High: 165 (Round 6)
Low: 80 (Round 20)
Centuries: 15 out of 21
Starting Price: $609,900
High Price: $664,300 (round 8)
Lowest Price: $480,000 (round 20)

Summary:

For those that took Chapman from the start were well rewarded with 13 consecutive 100's in a row from round 2 to 15 and 11 of them were 110 or higher. An for those who didn't take (me for one) keep saying he'll do his hammy then we started hoping he would just to justify the stuff up though it never happened an Chapman had his best year to date with great consistency especially with his lowest score for the whole year being 80 can't complain there

The Crystal Ball:
Based on last year's magic number

Price: $618,359.
Position: MID

Next year

Decision:

Starting only 9000 dearer then last year an with his body seemingly to be over the niggles could well go on to enjoying another great year and if he keeps his MPP status makes him even more enticing. Personally i might wait till he drops in price a little and upgrade to him.as we can't afford every big name player in a team. Either way the big question is

Will Paul Chapman be selected by you in 2011?

benjy251090

it all depends how much cash i have, probably not at the start as i will only want one of him and roo and roos price is just too good to ignore, will be pouncing though as soon as he has a less than average game!

Boomz

Probably not my team is gonna be more unique next year...

Very much almost locked in!

Took the risk and got him in for the finals. Played every match was very valuable. Injury concerns quashed IMO

Alex7089

I love him had him from the start this year and very glad I did. Doesn't get really low scores, and knows how to churn out 150. But, we will see if I can fit him in at that price :o
Smiley face ::)

Maca24

so consistent. think most will be waiting a while for his price to drop. LOCK

benjy251090

yeah, he is a must get at some stage during the year

Fletch74

Is he almost a lock for me. I wish I'd chosen him this year, but his history with injuries stopped me. 21 games is a good result for him.

Alex7089

21 is great. He almost could of played as well but Geelong didn't want to risk him...:(

Torress

had chappy every year.
more so based on the amount of goals and time spent up forward compared to chappy, GAJ really should take over chappy's MPP in 2011.
if he is a forward, he is hard to ignore.

BratPack

Like every year with Chappy: No. No. A MILLION TIMES NO!

Alex7089

Hamstrings worry you BP?
Managed 21 this year which is a pretty big effort for him.

Master Q

8-6 Suited

It's unlikely unless he remains a MPP. If he only gets midfeild, I will be looking elsewhere.

Any chance Chappy will miss a couple next year because of this? Cats have a history of suspending players for off-field incidents (Johnson, Stokes).

Btw, if this is true, it surprises me.
