That means Q has to take a 0 for his score this week, cos last time I checked he dont play for an AFL team
Well.Uhh... I can record my back-yard footy matches?  I kill the center circle ;D

Your just being stubborn >:(

Well as long as I can count my stats against my dogs.  I smash them and get big tons every week.

After all week saying I was going to trade. Now witht he teams named I might wait. I need to know whether Shaw will be back next week. Silvagni named as extended bench bothers me. It all hasnt worked out the way it was going to.

valkorum

As soon as Shaw recovers from his back issue he will be straight back in to the team.  I am hoping its only a 1 week absense as he isnt listed on the AFL injury list.

If your team does not look right then fix it. You have 20 trades for the year.
If you see fit then burn 2 or 3 trades on embellishing your side, then save 17 trades for upgrades and long term injuries.

I agree with not trading but having Tippett is bad news clearly coz' he has some nagging injuries which i think arethe worst kind because guys still play every week coz they are just fit enough but dont perform anywhere near their potential.
Have to see how Tippett is if he misses games I think ill trade him eventually coz clearly he is underdone and carrying naggers

Why do people do their trades so early in the week. What happens if there is a mishap at training and your player goes down. Why not wait until at least the teams get named?

I always wait until Friday when all teams are released before trading. Player Values aren't going to change midweek as player popularity isn't taken into consideration with a players price (which I think it should be, but that's another matter).

But I always plan my trades during the week, using pen & paper.

Yup, 100% agree!

Player popularity changing price? I like that as a concept! Perhaps wait price half popularity, half performance.... could further separate the nuff nuffs from the real deal.

Hmmm......

NEVER trade before team selection.
NEVER trade in a rookie after one match.
NEVER trade out a star after one bad performance.
NEVER chase a cash cow if you missed his significant initial price increase.
ALWAYS take your Vice Captain and emergency selection seriously.
ALWAYS select two rucks who are their teams No.1 Ruckman.
ALWAYS consider trading in a rookie if they produce 90+ in their 2nd match & are selected.
ALWAYS review Fridays final team late replacements 45mins before the game.
AVOID trading in 3 players from the same team in the same position.
AVOID keeping injured players in your team if they are set to miss 6+ weeks.
AVOID choosing too many players from teams that will lose most of their games.
AVOID using 10+ trades before Rnd 11. Late season injuries & tanking always require spare trades.
